Athens-built shop in Queens features world-class assortment of pastries
The Artopolis bakery in New York City has an authentic look of Greece. The bakery's owners had it designed and built in Greece, then disassembled and shipped it to the United States. Its ocher walls and white trim are lacquered pine, and some counters are Penteli marble, the white stone used for the Artopolis.
